SUKKUR, Aug 13 (APP):Divisional Commissioner Sukkur, Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi on Tuesday visited Khairpur to review the implementation of public welfare initiatives.
He inspected Mall Riad, Station Road and fruit and vegetables market and issued necessary instructions regarding the removal of encroachments and improving the traffic system. The Divisional Commissioner directed the Deputy Commissioner Khairpur to permanently remove encroachments.
He said that to resolve the problem of parking and encroachments in bazaars, the municipal corporation officials must be assigned permanent duties. He asked the deputy commissioner to remain in the field for two hours every day to improve the traffic system and remove encroachments.
The commissioner also inspected Katchehry Road where he was briefed by the chief officer Municipal Corporation about the sewage system, cleanliness and tree plantation drive.
