RAWALPINDI, Aug 28 (APP):Commissioner Rawalpindi, Engineer Aamir Khattak has directed for improvements in the services delivered at THQ Hospital and women’s college in Kotli Sattian.
He set a comprehensive visit along with MPA Muhammad Bilal Yamin, to the Government Associate College for Women and Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital.
He ordered the establishment of a laboratory, provision of transport facilities for students and availability of computer labs and other educational resources at the women’s college. He stressed ensuring teachers’ attendance and improving cleanliness.
“Our children are the guarantee of a bright future, and the effort we put in today will shape a successful tomorrow”, he said.
At the THQ Hospital, the commissioner ordered the provision of quality healthcare services, ensuring medicine availability and regular doctor attendance. He directed the Assistant Commissioner to conduct regular hospital visits to confirm patients receive necessary tests and medicines without unnecessary referrals. He also emphasized enhancing basic healthcare services in rural areas, highlighting that sufficient government funds were allocated to improve public healthcare.
Director Development Zainia, Assistant Commissioner Kotli Sattian and other administrative officers were also present during the visit.
