KARACHI, Aug 10 (APP): Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi has issued the details of prominent programs for Jashn-e-Azaadi and Maaraka-e-Haq being held between August 11 to 14th August.
According to a press release issued by the Commissionar’s Office, Commissioner emphasized that these moments are historic and citizens should participate to showcase their love for the country.
All Deputy Commissioners in Karachi are busy arranging programs and are in close coordination with relevant institutions. The Commissioner emphasized that the programs will be made memorable.
Renowned artists, including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam, Sajjad Ali, Sanam Marvi, and others, will perform at the musical concert at Karachi National Stadiumon August 13.
From August 11 to 13, the “Azaadi Quaid ke Saath” program will be held on Shahrah-e-Quaideen , featuring portraits of martyrs and national heroes, flag-hoisting ceremonies, and patriotic songs.
On August 12, Projective illumination (night) will be carrried out at the Mazare Quid.
A Jashn-e-Azaadi Night Cricket Match will be held in District Keamari, and a sports gala will be organized at the Sports Youth Center Gulistan-e-Johar under the auspices of Youth Development.
On August 13, besides the grand musical concert at the National Stadium, being organised by Department of Cultural in coordinated with Arts Council, Other important events will include a wreath laying ceremony at Yadgar Shuda being organised by Deputy commissioner Malir ,in which Deputy commissioner Malir Saleemullah Odho Will lay the wreath.
A float will be taken out, and a cycling race will be held from Frere Hall to the Quaid’s mausoleum. On August 14, main flag-hoisting ceremonies will be held at the Quaid’s mausoleum.
