FAISALABAD, Jul 29 (APP):Commissioner Maryam Khan inspected cleanliness and sanitation in union councils No 133 and 146 in tehsil Saddar on Tuesday.
The commissioner expressed dismay over the performance of sanitary staff and ordered the dismissal of Assistant Monitoring Officer Zohaib.
Meanwhile, the commissioner also visited Maryam Nawaz health clinic in Chak No 258 and checked
the medicine stock, cleanliness and attendance of doctors as well as paramedics.
She said that the Punjab government was specially focusing on the health sector, adding that Maryam Nawaz health clinics have created a new hope in the public health sector.
MPA Arif Mahmood Gill, Deputy Commissioner Cap Nadeem Nasir, Chief Executive Officer Waste Management Company Rauf Ahmed and Assistant Commissioner Saddar were also accompanied.
Earlier, chairing a meeting here, she said that monitoring of sanitation contractors and the waste management company had been initiated in the division.
She also took briefings on the Suthra Punjab campaign from districts during the meeting and issued instructions.
