FAISALABAD, Nov 01 (APP): Divisional Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar has intensified inspections of government hospitals across the division to ensure the provision of efficient and quality healthcare services to the public.
During his latest visit to the Government General Hospital Samanabad on Saturday, he reviewed the hospital’s medical and administrative affairs in detail. The commissioner interacted with patients and their attendants to verify the free availability of medicines and to assess the overall quality of healthcare facilities being provided.
He visited various wards, inquired after patients under treatment, and obtained comprehensive details about their medical procedures and care. Raja Jahangir Anwar assured that vacant posts of consultants and doctors would be filled soon and that all necessary resources would be provided to strengthen the hospital’s capacity and service standards.
Emphasizing the importance of a clean and accessible environment, he directed immediate repair of the road section near the hospital’s exit and instructed regular water sprinkling to control dust in the surrounding area.
He also ordered the continuation of the “Hospital Watch Program” to ensure ongoing monitoring of healthcare delivery and timely redressal of public complaints.
Additional Commissioner (Coordination) Aamir Raza accompanied the divisional commissioner during the visit.
