MULTAN, Oct 24 (APP):The longstanding demand of citizens for a solution to Kucthehry’s traffic congestion has finally been fulfilled, as the divisional administration has made the parking plaza operational for lawyers and the general public.
Commissioner Multan Division Aamir Karim Khan visited Kucthehry Chowk and inspected the newly completed parking plaza, a project executed by the Communication and Works Department at a cost of Rs 692 million. He also reviewed the traffic and management arrangements around the area.
The commissioner said activation of the parking plaza will significantly improve traffic flow around Kucthehry Chowk. He urged citizens to cooperate by following traffic rules to ensure lasting relief from congestion.
Lawyers and citizens expressed gratitude to Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan for addressing this long-pending issue. The commissioner also appreciated the constructive role of the District Bar Association in supporting the initiative.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Waseem Hamid Sandhu, City Police Officer (CPO) Sadiq Ali Dogar, and President District Bar Association Javed Ali Dogar accompanied the commissioner during the visit.
