Commissioner inaugurates Nurwary Garden in Khushab

SARGODHA, Nov 05 (APP):Commissioner Sargodha Division Jahanzeb Awan on Wednesday inaugurated the restored Nurwary Garden, a historic tourist spot located on Soon Valley Road in Khushab.
 According to the official spokesperson here, the event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Khushab Fawa Amer, Director Development Bilal Hassan, CEO SWMC Rana Shahid Imran, and other officials.
The garden, which is nearly a century old, had fallen into disrepair but was restored under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner.
The restored garden features modern facilities, including seating areas, lighting, drinking water, and a mosque.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner emphasized the potential of the Soon Valley as a major tourist destination, with its natural beauty and historic sites.
He stated that the Punjab government is planning to provide modern facilities and infrastructure to promote tourism in the region.
The Commissioner presented a shield to historian Imtiaz Hussain Imtiaz for his contributions to preserving the history of Khushab.
