MULTAN, Dec 29 (APP):In a remarkable display of humanity and public service, Commissioner Multan Aamir Karim Khan inaugurated the “Man o Salwa” free food point, further strengthening the city’s commitment to social welfare and dignified assistance for the underprivileged.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the commissioner stated that “Man o Salwa” was providing free and respectable meals twice a day to deserving individuals, ensuring that no one goes hungry while preserving human dignity.
He highlighted that this newly launched center was the fourth successful free food point in Multan, following the effective operation of similar facilities in WAPDA Town, Gulgasht, and the Industrial Estate.
He maintained that the existing food points were already benefiting more than 1,000 people per meal, reflecting the growing impact of the initiative.
Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan termed the project a shining example of service, dignity, and social responsibility, emphasizing that such initiatives play a vital role in building a compassionate and inclusive society.
He also appealed to philanthropists and well-off citizens to come forward and become part of this noble mission, so that the scope of the project can be expanded and more deserving individuals can benefit.
