MIRPURKHAS, Jun 27 (APP):Commissioner, Mirpurkhas Faisal Ahmed Uqaili, on the recommendation of Deputy Commissioner Umerkot, has immediately imposed Section 144 in the district for 90 days for cultivating crops on Gauchar land (cattle grazing area) and felling trees in view of the possible monsoon rains .
According to press statement issued here, the commissioner directed the officers of the local police station to register FIRs against the violators and take legal action.
