BAHAWALPUR, Feb 02 (APP): Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Musarrat Jabeen paid a surprise visit to the Kidney Centre of Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH), where she expressed strong displeasure over poor sanitation arrangements and directed that the hospital’s cleanliness system be improved immediately.
During the visit, the Commissioner issued clear instructions to the Medical Superintendent and Additional Medical Superintendent, stating that no negligence in patient care will be tolerated. She emphasized that, along with medical treatment, a clean, safe, and hygienic environment is essential for the speedy recovery of patients.
Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen also directed that all manholes within the hospital premises be immediately covered, stressing that no open or damaged manholes should remain in the hospital area. She said this measure is vital to prevent any untoward incidents involving patients, attendants, or hospital staff. She further warned that any negligence related to public health will not be tolerated and instructed all concerned authorities to extend full cooperation in ensuring proper sanitation, safety, and patient welfare within the hospital.
