CNF seizes narcotics consignments, 4 arrested

LAHORE, Oct 15 (APP):Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (CNF) has intensified its crackdown against drug traffickers and smugglers across the province under the vision of Chief Minister’s “Narcotics-Free Punjab, A Healthy and Safe Punjab.”
According to a CNF spokesperson, the Force conducted successful operations in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Sahiwal over the past three days, targeting major drug networks. During the operations, 3.6 kilograms of hashish, 2.5 kilograms of ice (crystal meth), 663 grams of heroin, and 300 grams of opium were recovered. Four suspects were arrested, and four FIRs were registered against them.
The spokesperson said that the Punjab CNF is actively pursuing the Chief Minister’s vision to eradicate drug trafficking from the province. He added that a strict zero-tolerance policy is being enforced against those involved in the narcotics trade and that operations will continue until all drug smuggling networks are dismantled.
The Punjab Counter Narcotics Force reaffirmed its commitment to continuing full-scale operations to achieve the goal of a safe, drug-free, and healthy Punjab.
