LAHORE, Jul 23 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid a surprise visit to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Nankana Sahib on Wednesday.
The CM inspected the emergency unit and other wards, interacting directly with patients and their attendants to assess the quality of medical services being provided. The CM personally inquired about the availability of free medicines, examined hospital slips, and verified patient records. She appreciated the hospital administration for installing a board in the main waiting area displaying real-time information about available medicines and their quantities.
The CM also reviewed the timelines of patient care, including arrival, diagnosis, and medicine provision, and expressed satisfaction over the hospital’s performance. She commended the staff for ensuring that patients were being diagnosed and provided medication within an average timeframe of one and a half hours.
