LAHORE, Jul 05 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Sunday expressed profound grief over the martyrdom of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Group Captain Asim Tariq, who embraced martyrdom while trying to save a woman in Islamabad.
The CM extended her heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family of the martyred officer, paying tribute to his courage, selflessness and sacrifice.
She said that Group Captain Asim Tariq set a remarkable example of bravery and humanity by laying down his life while protecting another person.
