PESHAWAR, Jul 22 (APP):Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, on Tuesday expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by the recent spell of heavy rainfall across the province.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s House here, the CM extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the affected families.
He expressed profound grief over the death of ten individuals in various rain-related incidents and offered prayers for the departed souls, along with prayers for patience and strength for the bereaved families.
Gandapur also conveyed best wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured and directed the concerned district administrations to ensure the provision of the best possible medical treatment.
He emphasized that immediate relief and financial assistance must be provided to the affected families.
Furthermore, CM Gandapur instructed officials to present a detailed report on the damages caused by the rains, floods, and landslides.
He stressed the need for swift restoration of the damaged infrastructure and reaffirmed that the provincial government stands firmly with the victims during this difficult time.
“The affected people will not be left alone, and all possible assistance will be provided to them,” he assured.
