LAHORE, Jan 03 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif congratulated Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Osama Abdul Karim on his unopposed victory in the by-election for PP-289, Dera Ghazi Khan.
In a statement, the CM thanked the people of PP-289 for reposing their confidence in the PML-N and said the election outcome reflected public trust in the party’s development-oriented policies. She termed the victory a manifestation of PML-N leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s vision of public service and good governance.
CM Maryam Nawaz said the people of Dera Ghazi Khan had once again demonstrated that voters in Punjab prioritise development, progress and improved public services. She added that the PML-N government, in less than two years, had achieved several milestones which could not be accomplished in the past.
The CM expressed her resolve to continue development initiatives aimed at improving public welfare and ensuring inclusive growth across the province.
