CM calls for upholding Palestinians’ right to self-determination

LAHORE, Nov 29 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that the government and people of Pakistan stand firmly with their Palestinian brethren in their just struggle.
In her message on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, she added that the Palestinian people have been fighting for their right to self-determination for decades, and their courage and unwavering spirit have written a new chapter in history.
The CM paid tribute to the bravery and resilience of the Palestinian people and reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to extend diplomatic, moral, and political support to their right to self-determination. She said that today, and always, Pakistan expresses complete solidarity with the people of Palestine, adding that Pakistan has played a constructive role in the recent peace agreement.
CM Maryam Nawaz said that Palestinian citizens are deprived of basic human rights, including access to food, medicine, clean water, housing, and security. She stressed that the international community must fulfill its responsibilities under international law and take urgent, practical steps to ensure lasting peace and justice for the people of Palestine.
