QUETTA, Mar 01 (APP):Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Mir Sarfraz Bugti has expressed deep concern over the painful incidents in neighboring regions of Balochistan, calling them a matter of sorrow for the entire Muslim Ummah.
In a statement shared on social media platform X, Bugti acknowledged that the events have caused widespread grief and distress, noting that expressing pain through peaceful protest is a natural and legitimate response.
Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that provincial police and district administrations have been directed to fully cooperate with demonstrators and take all necessary measures to maintain law and order. He stressed that ensuring public safety and preserving peace during protests remains the government’s top priority.
“At this difficult time, it is important that people remain united and uphold the principles of peace and justice,” he said, urging citizens to demonstrate responsibly.
The chief minister made it clear that any attempt to exploit protests as a pretext for violating the law, harming civilians, or damaging public or national property would not be tolerated. He warned that strict action would be taken against those found involved in unlawful activities.
Sarfraz Bugti further stated that the provincial government is prepared to facilitate and document all protests conducted in a civilized and peaceful manner. He reaffirmed the administration’s willingness to listen to legitimate public demands, ensuring that both public sentiments and law and order are respected.
