QUETTA, Jan 12 (APP):Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Monday said that online recruitment is being started on 111 government posts on 100 percent merit and paperless basis in the Finance Department for the first time in the history of the province.
He said this in a message on social networking site X issued here.
Balochistan Chief Minister said that his first and unequivocal promise to the people of Balochistan was that neither government jobs would be sold in the province nor could corruption or nepotism be tolerated in any way
He said that the provincial government is taking practical and effective steps to restore public trust and transparent governance.
The Chief Minister said that to fulfill this promise, the transparency system is being further strengthened in Balochistan and in this regard, online recruitment is being started on 111 government posts on 100 percent merit and paperless basis in the Finance Department for the first time in the history of the province.
He said that this step is a step towards eliminating corruption and institutional reforms, it is a historic step.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti clarified that under this new recruitment system, an online test would be conducted from the candidates, their qualifications and aptitude could be tested in a transparent manner.
He said that the successful candidates would be issued appointment letters within an hour to ensure merit-based appointments.
The Chief Minister said that this reform system is being started from the Finance Department, which would be extended to government jobs of all other departments of the Balochistan government in a phased manner.
He said that incumbent provincial government is committed to promoting good governance, transparency and accountability through the use of modern technology.
The CM said that merit, transparency and promises made to the people are the basis of the governance of the Balochistan government and the provincial government would continue to take such steps at all levels that could empower the youth and give their rights to the eligible persons.
