QUETTA, Feb 05 (APP): Chief Minister (CM) of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, on Thursday expressed solidarity with the people of Kashmir on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering political, moral, and diplomatic support for their just struggle.
Sarfraz Bugti praised the resilience of the Kashmiri people, noting that they have courageously resisted Indian oppression for more than seven decades. He emphasized that their determination remains unbroken despite continued coercion and repression.
“Every child of Balochistan stands firmly alongside the Kashmiri people,” Bugti said, underscoring the deep-rooted sense of unity and brotherhood across the province.
The CM stressed that granting the right to self-determination to the Kashmiri people, in accordance with United Nations Security Council resolutions, is a responsibility of the international community. He urged global institutions and human rights organizations to play an effective role in resolving the Kashmir issue and ensuring justice.
Sarfraz Bugti described Kashmir Solidarity Day as a day of renewed commitment, symbolizing Pakistan’s steadfast resolve to stand with the Kashmiri people in their legitimate struggle. He added that Indian atrocities cannot break their morale, expressing confidence that the freedom movement will ultimately succeed.
