Clash at Islamia College leaves two students injured

PESHAWAR, Oct 14 (APP):A violent clash between two student organizations at Islamia College Peshawar led to an exchange of gunfire that left two students injured.
According to the college administration on Tuesday, the confrontation began as a political dispute between members of rival student groups. During the altercation, aerial firing broke out inside the college premises, causing panic among students and staff.
Both injured students were immediately rushed to the hospital. One of the victims, Shah Fahad, son of Asad Khan, a resident of Tehkal Bala, Peshawar, is reported to be in critical condition. He was initially taken to Khyber Teaching Hospital and later shifted to Northwest Hospital for further treatment.
Police quickly reached the scene and brought the situation under control. Authorities confirmed that ten students have been taken into custody for questioning regarding the incident.
The college administration has condemned the violence and stated that strict action will be taken against those involved.
