Civil society network to plant 1,00,000 saplings to combat global warming

MUZAFARGARH, Jul 26 (APP):Civil Society Network in collaboration with Ghazali education foundation would plant 1,00,000 saplings in hospitals, schools, offices, and other places of the district starting from August 20, in an effort to combat global warming.
The initiative will commence at Indus hospital Muzaffargarh.In a joint press release, Malik Khair Muhammad Budh, President of Civil Society Network Muzaffargarh, and Malik Javed, President Ghazali Education Foundation, emphasized that the world was currently facing severe environmental changes, with rapidly rising temperatures. Pakistan was also among the countries affected by global warming.
To address this threat, the Civil Society Network Muzaffargarh have launched an awareness campaign along with a large-scale plantation project to plant 100,000 trees. The initiative will begin on August 20 at Indus hospital where 1,000 students from Ghazali school would plant 5,000 saplings.
Subsequently, the goal is to plant a total of 100,000 saplings across the district’s hospitals, educational institutions, government offices, major roads, and forest department lands.
The organizers urged citizens to join this national duty by providing saplings, planting trees themselves, and encouraging others to do the same, aiming to create a green and prosperous Pakistan for future generations.
