GUJRAT, Oct 24 (APP):On the directions of Deputy Commissioner and Controller of Civil Defence Gujrat, the Civil Defence Department organised a mock emergency drill at Government Graduate College, Sarai Alamgir, in collaboration with students.
Teams from the Civil Defence Bomb Disposal Squad, Police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Elite Force, and Rescue 1122 participated in the exercise. During the drill, participants were trained to effectively respond to emergency situations.
Civil Defence Officer of Gujrat Asim Riaz Wahla said that such exercises would continue regularly to enhance public safety and improve the capacity of relevant institutions.
