FAISALABAD, Nov 08 (APP): Municipal Corporation Faisalabad (MCF) has restored and made functional streetlights on various main roads and internal streets of the city to provide most convenient and a renewed sense of safety in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz.
Administrator MCF and Divisional Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar said here on Saturday that the initiative is a part of CM’s broader urban uplift plan for modernizing city infrastructure and providing maximum relief to the public.
He said that fully functional streetlights not only improve road visibility but also contribute to crime prevention, smooth traffic flow and better nighttime business activity.
“Public relief in every sector is our top priority”, he said and added that the city’s illumination project marked a visible improvement in the overall living environment.
He said that special MCF teams had been working round the clock to inspect faulty poles, replace damaged bulbs and repair electrical connections on main roads, link streets and residential areas.
“We are ensuring that no street remains in darkness and people feel the real impact of good governance envisioned by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz”, he added.
