LAHORE, Dec 06 (APP):The annual Chrysanthemum Show 2025 drew a large turnout at Jilani Park on Saturday as the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore put on display more than 200 varieties of chrysanthemums along with thousands of potted plants, making it one of the major floral attractions of the season.
Visitors, including families and photography enthusiasts, flocked to the venue throughout the day, praising the vibrant arrangements and creative landscaping features. Many termed this year’s exhibition more attractive and extensive compared to previous editions, noting the vivid colour patterns, artistic plant designs and scenic walkways that enhanced the park’s overall ambiance.
According to PHA Managing Director, Raja Mansoor Ahmad, the show has been designed to offer citizens an immersive floral experience in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who has emphasized accessible and healthy recreational opportunities for the public. He said the agency had curated the exhibition with special attention to diversity in plant species and aesthetic presentation to promote horticultural awareness among visitors.
He informed that the Chrysanthemum Show will continue until December 15, and Jilani Park will remain open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily for citizens wishing to visit. The management has also made special arrangements for crowd facilitation, including guided viewing areas and dedicated zones for photography.
The MD encouraged the public to visit the park with their families and enjoy the floral landscapes throughout the ongoing exhibition, terming the show a seasonal gift for the people of Punjab.
