CHINIOT, Nov 5 (APP): The District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) in Chiniot is set to receive a significant upgrade, with the Punjab Health Department approving an increase in bed capacity from 140 to 220, the local correspondent of APP reported this from Chiniot on Wednesday.
According to the details, this development is a result of the tireless efforts of Deputy Commissioner Safiullah Gondal and the Health Authority Chiniot. The hospital’s expansion plans are underway, with the construction of a new building in its final stages. The addition of 90 beds will not only increase patient capacity but also lead to the deployment of more doctors and paramedical staff. This upgrade will enable the hospital to provide modern, quality, and efficient medical facilities to patients.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Gondal, while exclusively talking to APP, emphasized that the upgrade will significantly enhance healthcare services in Chiniot. The hospital’s new building is expected to be completed by February, further increasing patient capacity and improving medical facilities, he further added.
