CHINIOT, Nov 15 (APP): In a 24-hour sweep across Chiniot district, officers used the e-Police Post app to check 2,372 individuals and 2,446 vehicles, flagging suspicious activity with unprecedented speed. The digital crackdown even led to the recovery of a stolen car, underscoring how the new technology is turning routine checkpoints into high-impact crime-busting tools.
District Police Officer Abdullah Ahmed told reporters on Saturday that the force is “taking practical steps across the district to secure the lives of citizens,” emphasizing that modern technology lets them act “more quickly against criminal elements.” He pledged that “the safety of lives and property will be ensured at all costs by utilizing all means,” promising continued reliance on the app to tighten security.
