ASTORE, Dec 17 (APP):An important meeting regarding Time Scale Promotion was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan, Abrar Ahmed Mirza here Wednesday. Secretary Services, Usman Ahmed, gave a detailed briefing on matters related to Time Scale Promotion.
During the meeting, secretaries of all departments informed the Chief Secretary about pending Time Scale Promotion cases in their respective departments. On this occasion, the Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan directed that all pending Time Scale Promotion cases in various departments should be resolved immediately on a priority basis.
The Chief Secretary further instructed the concerned secretaries to dispose of all Time Scale Promotion cases under the proposed policy so that long-pending matters could be addressed in an effective and timely manner.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan also directed all departments to ensure the implementation of the biometric attendance system under all circumstances. He emphasized further strengthening and improving the Biometric Attendance System (BAS) to promote discipline and transparency.
The Chief Secretary clearly stated that transparency in government affairs, timely decision-making and the implementation of modern systems are among the top priorities of the government, and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated.?
