ISLAMABAD , Jul 22 (APP): Chairperson of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Gulmina Bilal, called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at Governor House here on Tuesday.
The meeting was also attended by PPP Parliamentary Leader in KP Assembly Ahmad Karim Kundi, Vice Chancellor of Kalam BB International Institute Bannu Professor Dr. Aurangzeb Khan, and other education experts.
The discussion focused on promoting technical education, women empowerment, investment, and tourism development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Chairperson NAVTTC expressed her gratitude to the Governor for his support in youth development initiatives across the province.
Progress on the establishment of the COTHM Institute in Swat was reviewed, including preparations for the launch of its academic session.
Governor Kundi said the institute would not only create employment opportunities in the tourism industry for youth in Swat but would also benefit young people across the province, leading to increased tourism and investment.
The meeting also included consultations on NAVTTC’s support in enhancing IT and vocational skills at the Kalam BB Institute in Bannu.
Chairperson Gulmina Bilal apprised the Governor about ongoing efforts under the Ministry of Interior’s policy to provide free technical education to children of martyrs of security forces in KP and Balochistan.
Governor Kundi appreciated the initiative, calling it a noble step to honor the sacrifices of national heroes, and assured full support from the Governor House.
