PESHAWAR, Jan 02 (APP):Pakistan Provincial Services Academy (PPSA) here Friday arranged closing and certificate distribution ceremony of Pre-Service Training Course for Assistant Engineers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Assistant Executive Engineers.
The ceremony was also attended by Director General (DG) PPSA, Usman Gul as the Chief Guest. Addressing the participants, DG PPSA emphasized that integrity and a positive attitude are the core attributes of a responsible and effective public servant.
He stated that while technical competence is important, strong character, professional ethics and a spirit of public service define true excellence in public sector performance.
He urged engineering officers to uphold transparency, accountability and honesty in the use of public resources. He highlighted that the pre-service training course was specifically designed for Assistant Engineers of KP and Assistant Executive Engineers of Gilgit-Baltistan with the objective of preparing them professionally, administratively and ethically.
On the occasion, Chief Instructor Taj Hameed presented the course report outlining the training modules, academic activities and overall performance of the participants. He told a total of 73 officers successfully graduated including 59 officers from KP and 14 officers from Gilgit-Baltistan.
The DG appreciated the untiring efforts of the PPSA faculty, resource persons and administrative staff noting that their dedication reflects the high standards and credibility of the academy. He also thanked the concerned provincial departments of KP and Gilgit-Baltistan for deputing their officers to PPSA and termed it a clear indication of their trust in professionalism and training capacity of the academy.
He expressed confidence that the trained officers would translate their learning into practice by demonstrating integrity, discipline and improved performance in the field.
