PESHAWAR, Jan 16 (APP):Sahir Afif Khan, Regional Business Head of Habib Metro Bank (HMB) Pakistan, called on Dr. Syed Mohammad Ilyas, CEO of the Paraplegic Center Peshawar (PCP), and presented a donation cheque of Rs. 250,000 for the welfare of patients undergoing treatment at the center.
Appreciating the selfless services of this unique institution—dedicated to the comprehensive physical and psychological rehabilitation of individuals with spinal cord injuries, as well as the treatment of children with clubfoot and autism spectrum disorders, Khan assured all out support on behalf of HMB.
Dr. Syed Ilyas acknowledged the bank’s commitment to serving humanity and expressed hope that corporate social responsibility initiatives by financial institutions would assist rehabilitation centers like the Paraplegic Center Peshawar.
He said such support would not only help expand bed capacity but also ensure the treatment and rehabilitation of all the individuals with disabilities coming from across the country.
