LAHORE, Jul 22 (APP):Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore, Bilal Siddique Kamyana on Tuesday chaired an important meeting at the Capital City Police Headquarters to review the overall law and order situation and ongoing professional affairs of the Lahore Police.
According to a spokesperson, DIG Crime Control Department (CCD), Waqas-ul-Hassan briefed participants on notable cases traced by the CCD and progress made in crime investigations.
The meeting conducted a detailed assessment of matters related to both the Lahore Police and the CCD.
The discussion focused on enhancing departmental coordination between district police units and the CCD.
CCPO Bilal emphasized the need for improved information sharing and sustained communication between all relevant departments.
He directed that Lahore Police and CCD should work in close coordination to ensure prompt redressal of public complaints. “Mutual cooperation will further improve our ability to curb crime effectively, ”he said.
Bilal Siddique reiterated the commitment to establishing a crime-free society through joint efforts, urging officers to serve the public with professionalism and a sense of duty.
The meeting was attended by DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar, DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Raza, SSP (Investigation), SP CCD-I Shahmeer Khalid and SP CCD-II Abdul Hanan.
