FAISALABAD, Nov 25 (APP):The Women Protection Center, Faisalabad, in collaboration with Sanatzar, officially launched a 16-day campaign against gender-based violence on Tuesday, marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
The primary objective of this campaign is to prevent gender-based violence in society, raise awareness about the issue, and inform affected women about the support systems available to them.
During the event, participants received a comprehensive briefing on the different forms of gender-based violence, methods of preventing cyber harassment, and the legal, psychological, and immediate support services offered by the Women Protection Center and other relevant institutions. Awareness materials, pamphlets, and other informational resources were also distributed to attendees.
The ceremony was attended by District Women Protection Officer Kanwal Shahzadi, Incharge of Sanatzar Rehana Yasmin, Women Protection Officer Sanam Zahra, Bilqis Sohail, and other representatives from the relevant departments.
