KHANEWAL, Oct 28 (APP):A camp site has been established at the Government Higher Secondary School Bagar Sargana in Kabirwala to provide financial compensation to those who suffered losses in the recent floods. The camp is part of the efforts to fulfill the promise made by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
During his visit to the camp site, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) Khanewal Khalid Abbas Siyal stated that a total of 500 individuals will receive assistance every day. He added that the flood-affected residents of Tahsil Kabirwala would begin receiving their compensation in the form of ATM cards.
The visit was also attended by Assistant Commissioner Kabirwala Rana Amir Liaquat and Assistant Commissioner Mian Channu Sajida Zafar. ADCR Khalid Abbas Siyal instructed staff members to handle the flood victims with courtesy and empathy throughout the process.
Flood-affected individuals expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for the timely financial support, which will help them recover from the damages caused by the disaster.
