DERA GHAZI KHAN, Feb 12 (APP):A bus carrying pilgrims met a tragic traffic accident on Bagh Chor Road near Sakhi Sarwar late Wednesday night, leaving the driver dead and six others injured.
According to Rescue-1122 here, the bus was returning from the shrine of Sakhi Sarwar when its brakes failed on the downhill stretch, leading to the accident.
Upon information,rescue and police reached the spot.Rescue officials confirmed that the driver, Iftikhar (45),son of Abdul Sattar, sustained critical head injuries and died on the spot. His body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Sakhi Sarwar.Six pilgrims were injured in the accident. Two were shifted to the Civil Hospital Sakhi Sarwar, while four received first aid at the site.
