KARACHI, Jan 04 (APP):Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Sunday said that Braille is the key to knowledge and independence for persons with visual impairments.
In his special message for persons with visual impairments on World Braille Day, he said that Braille is not just a script; it is the language of self-confidence and self-reliance.
Syed Murad Ali Shah said that provision of education and equal opportunities to persons with visual impairments is a priority of the government. He expressed his commitment to the promotion of Braille and the welfare of persons with disabilities. He said that hands that learn through Braille give society a brighter future.
The Chief Minister of Sindh said that Braille has transformed silence into a voice and touch into knowledge.
He said that Braille education is essential for building an inclusive society.
He expressed his full confidence in the abilities of persons with visual impairments.
