DERA GHAZI KHAN, Oct 21 (APP):Officials of the Border Military Police (BMP) in Dera Ghazi Khan, including the Station House Officer (SHO) of Khar Police Station, were awarded cash prizes and commendation certificates for their outstanding efforts in curbing smuggling and criminal activities.
A graceful ceremony was held under the supervision of Political Assistant, Koh-e-Suleman, and Commandant Tribal Force, Ameer Taimoor Khan. SHO Ashfaq Leghari and his team from Khar Police Station received special recognition for their effective operations against smugglers and anti-social elements.
The event was attended by Risaldar Tamman Leghari, Sardar Abdullah Khan Leghari, Line Officer Sajid Leghari, and staff members of the Khar Police Station.
Addressing the gathering, Commandant Ameer Taimoor Khan praised the dedication, discipline, and bravery of the BMP personnel, describing them as the pride of the force. He stated that their performance sets a benchmark for others and reflects the commitment of the department to maintaining law and order.
He reaffirmed that the fight against crime, smuggling, and other social evils remains a top priority for the Border Military Police. Officers demonstrating exceptional service will continue to be rewarded, in line with the directives of Senior Commandant and Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Usman Khalid.
