FAISALABAD, Jul 11 (APP):Mansoorabad police claimed to trace out a blind murder and arrested two accused within 24 hours after incident.
Police spokesman said that Muhammad Ahad(19) was kidnapped from Chak No.203-RB,area of Mansoorabad police station under mysterious circumstances a couple of days ago.
However,yesterday his corpse was found from a deserted place near dry port in the area of Millat Town police.
Receiving information,City Police Officer (CPO) Sahibzada Bilal Umar took serious notice and directed the SP Madina Division to probe into the matter and submit its report besides ensuring immediate arrest of the culprits involved in this heinous crime.
Therefore,a special team was constituted which started investigation on scientific lines and arrested two accused Bilal and Umar after tracing out the blind murder.
During initial interrogation,the accused confessed the offense and told to the police that they had abducted Muhammad Ahad for ransom but he produced resistance and he was killed due to severe torture.
The police locked the accused behind bars while further investigation was under progress,spokesman added.
