RAWALPINDI, Oct 16 (APP): The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring transparency and strict monitoring in the ongoing Matric Second Annual Examinations 2025, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for fair and merit-based assessments.

A spokesperson for the BISE said on Thursday that Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan and Controller of Examinations Tanzeer Asghar Awan visited various examination centres to review the arrangements and expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the exams.

The chairman said that all examinations were being held in a transparent, impartial, and pressure-free environment in accordance with the directives of the Punjab Government. “No one will be allowed to violate the examination standard operating procedures (SOPs), and every centre is under strict supervision,” he added.

He further stated that the examination staff were performing their duties responsibly in accordance with the Board’s SOPs, and that transparency would not be compromised under any circumstances.

Controller of Examinations Tanzeer Asghar Awan said that mobile inspectors were visiting examination centres daily and submitting detailed reports to the Board office. He noted that the newly introduced online monitoring system had proved highly effective in curbing cheating and significantly improving the quality and transparency of the examination process.

“The BISE’s objective is not merely to conduct exams but to provide students with a fair academic environment where their hard work is duly recognised,” he remarked.
