BISE Rawalpindi announces Intermediate Part-I results, success ratio stands at 43.46pc

RAWALPINDI, Oct 15 (APP):The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi on Wednesday announced the results of the Intermediate Part-I (First Annual Examination 2025), declaring a success ratio of 43.46 per cent.
The results were announced at a simple yet dignified ceremony held at the Board’s office, which was attended by BISE Rawalpindi Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan, Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan, Secretary Amjad Iqbal Khattak, and other senior officers.
A total of 63,494 candidates submitted admission forms, and 62,020 of them appeared in the examination. As many as 26,951 candidates were declared successful, while 35,052 failed to qualify. Meanwhile, 1,213 candidates remained absent, and 261 admission forms were cancelled due to various reasons.
Among the appearing candidates, 23,372 were boys and 40,122 were girls, reflecting the increasing participation and active role of female students in the field of education.
Addressing the ceremony, Chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan congratulated the Controller of Examinations, Secretary, and all officers and staff members on the transparent conduct of the examinations and the timely announcement of results.
He said the Board had maintained high standards of transparency and merit through professionalism, honesty, and relentless hard work — setting a commendable example for other educational institutions.
The chairman said that the success of students remained the Board’s top priority, adding that efforts were underway to further improve academic standards through modern technology, a transparent system, and an organised examination process.
He reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to continue its tradition of excellence while paving the way for greater transparency, efficiency, and progress in the future.
Adnan Khan further remarked that the reputation and credibility of the Board were the result of the collective dedication, sincerity, and teamwork of its officers and employees. “We must continue to work with unity of purpose, determination, and professional integrity to keep the BISE Rawalpindi among the leading educational boards of the country.”
