PESHAWAR, Jan 14 (APP):A ceremony to celebrate the birth anniversary of Hafeez Jalandhari was held Tuesday at Government Superior Science College Peshawar.
The ceremony was organized by the Department of Pakistan Studies and the event took place in the college’s seminar hall.
The ceremony was presided over by Principal Professor Gul Nawaz Khan, while Dr. Qudrat Ullah Khatak served as the host. Associate Professors Dr. Syed Zubair Shah and Dr. Ijaz Ahmad from the Department of Urdu highlighted the contributions of Hafeez Jalandhari as special guests.
In his address, Principal Professor Gul Nawaz Khan stated that Hafeez Jalandhari’s services to Pakistan are a part of history.
Chairman of the Pakistan Studies Department, Dr. Ishaq Wardag, described the lyrics, concepts, and poetic tone of the national anthem as a reflection of the hopes and aspirations of the Pakistani nation.
At the end of the ceremony, Principal Professor Gul Nawaz Khan cut the birthday cake of Hafeez Jalandhari. The event was attended by faculty members and students.
