MIRPUR (AJK), Nov 4 (APP):Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister (PM) Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq said on Tuesday that the base camp system remains indebted to the Kashmir Freedom Movement.
According to APP correspondent, he was talking to a delegation comprising local government representatives and councilors from Upper and Lower Chattar called on him, delegation apprised the PM of the issues facing their areas and the progress of ongoing development projects.
He added that the base camp system remains indebted to the Kashmir Freedom Movement. “I do not draw any benefits or salary and have ensured the protection of public funds”, he maintained.
He reaffirmed his commitment to remain true to his oath and to continue prioritizing collective interests over personal gain. The Prime Minister reiterated his resolve to keep working for public welfare and institutional improvement.
He highlighted that the present government has achieved significant progress in the education and health sectors, strengthened infrastructure, and dedicated resources to public service.The Prime Minister issued immediate instructions to complete the survey of the two-kilometer road from Domel Bridge to Sandh Gali in Muzaffarabad within 48 hours.
He also sought a detailed report from the Commissioner of Muzaffarabad on expediting the walkway project and widening the bridge adjacent to the central Eidgah.The delegation appreciated the government’s initiatives for public service and welfare.
