MULTAN, Dec 17 (APP): Local Horticulture Agency is continuing bamboo trees’ plantation across the city, with more than 400 trees already planted at different locations.
On Tuesday, over 100 bamboo trees have been planted in Wahdat Colony, said the official.
Earlier, plantation work was also completed on Kacheri Road and Nawabpur Road, he added.
MD Horticulture said in a statement that tree plantation was being carried out along major roads of the city to enhance greenery and improve the urban environment.
Kareem Bakhsh said that along with bamboo, other shade-giving and fruit-bearing trees are also being planted.
He added that the plantation drive was being carried out in line with the Green Vision of the Chief Minister Punjab.
