Balochistan Women Parliamentary Caucus to take efforts to ensure women’s right

QUETTA, Jul 24 (APP):Advisor to the Chief Minister Balochistan for Women Development Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi on Wednesday said the Balochistan Assembly has approved the resolution of establishment of Women Parliamentary Caucus. She said the body would equal statue of standing committee.
Addressing a press conference, Rubaba Buledi flanked by Deputy Speaker Ghazala Gola, Mena Majeed Baloch, Frah Azeem Shah and Hadiya Nawaz, said that the women parliamentary caucus would play pivotal role for the women’s right in the province.
Rubaba Buledi said that the women parliamentarians are on the same page and having stance the ensure rights to every woman of the province. She said that the holding a peaceful protest is the right of every one and the government would also facilitate the protest if it held peacefully. She said the women parliamentary caucus would present the reservations of protestors before the Balochistan government to resolve the issue.
Deputy Speaker Balochistan Assembly Ghazala Gola said that Balochistan government has committed to encourage women and empower them in every sphere of life.
Ghazala Gola said that women parementarians are representing the mothers, sisters and daughters of Balochistan, we have gathered here to play a positive role in the current situation.
The Women Parliamentarian called the BYC to set on table and hold dialogues to find out the solution of the issue, if they believe on the constitution and the law.
They added that our position is clear that peaceful protest is their right within the framework of the constitution and the law.
 Member Balochistan Assembly, Mena Majeed Baloch said the organizing protest in Gwadar would affect the CPEC project in Gwadar and arrival of foreign delegations, investments, business activities and daily life of local people.
She said the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) may organize their protest at any other district at any time but could not give permission for holding rally in Gwadar.
Mena Baloch said that the BYC should fulfill the procedure of getting permission from the district administration for holding protest and the district administration of Gwadar has not awarded the permission for such activity yet.  The government would not allow anyone to take the law in their own hands. She said the organizing protest in the primer port city at a time when foreign delegations visiting Gwadar, investing in the CPEC project is aimed to de-track the development process.
Farah Azeem Baloch said that the province and the country on a right direction and on a track of development and prosperity. She said Dealing with fake news is imperative and the digital terrorists want to create space among the state institutions and public.
She said that all outstanding issues can be resolved through dialogue, protest and sit-in in Gwadar could affect the CPEC project in Gwadar and the arrival of foreign delegations and business activities and investment.
Hadiya Nawaz said that peaceful protest is the right of every citizen.
She said that adhering to the right of peaceful protest, it is the discretion of the government and administration to determine the place of protest.
