QUETTA, Nov 05 (APP):Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a high-level meeting focused on youth welfare and development, bringing together key stakeholders to accelerate youth engagement and job creation across the province.
The session included Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Provincial Minister for Agriculture Ali Hassan Zehri, Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan, and senior officials from multiple departments.
The meeting reviewed ongoing and proposed youth welfare initiatives, resulting in several strategic decisions aimed at unlocking the potential of Balochistan’s youth and integrating them into the province’s development framework.
A major outcome of the meeting was the decision to merge the Prime Minister’s Youth Program with the Chief Minister’s Youth Initiatives under a unified, integrated strategy. This alignment is designed to streamline services and enhance the effectiveness of youth-focused programs.
The youth facilitation centers will be established at the tehsil level, serving as one-stop hubs for employment guidance, training opportunities, business support, and access to interest-free loans.
It was decided that a dedicated unit will be set up in the Chief Secretary’s Office to ensure seamless coordination between federal and provincial youth programs.
CM Bugti emphasized the vast potential of Balochistan’s youth and outlined a bold plan to transform talent into tangible progress.
Enterprise Development Program would be launched in seven districts, this initiative will provide targeted support for youth entrepreneurship.
The meeting decided that around 60,000 youth would be provided technical, and digital training, preparing them for self-employment and integration into the modern economy.
The youth will be equipped to excel in e-commerce, agriculture, IT, and other emerging industries.
Reaffirming his commitment, CM Bugti said “The youth of Balochistan are the guarantors of not only their own dreams but also the bright future of the province. The government stands with them at every step.”
He emphasized that youth development is a top priority and directed all relevant institutions to mobilize resources for the guidance, support, and empowerment of the younger generation.
Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan praised the provincial government’s efforts under CM Bugti’s leadership.
He reaffirmed the Prime Minister’s Youth Program’s full support and lauded the collaborative spirit driving youth-focused reforms in Balochistan.
