Balochistan govt, Indus Hospital collaborate to enhance healthcare services

QUETTA, May 08 (APP):Balochistan government in collaboration with Indus Hospital to enhance healthcare facilities to the masses in the far-flung areas of the province.
A high-level review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti to assess progress on healthcare service delivery in the province in collaboration with Indus Hospital.
The meeting was attended by Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Secretary Health Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Panizai, and Director General Health Dr. Ameen Khan Mandokhail. Officials from Indus Hospital also participated via video link.
Indus Hospital representatives provided a detailed briefing on the progress of healthcare initiatives across the province, with special focus on the ongoing work in the Sui and Bekar areas.
 They highlighted key developments and outlined the steps being taken to improve medical services in these underserved regions.
Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister Bugti emphasized the provincial government’s full support in providing residential and essential facilities to doctors and healthcare staff.
He directed that the recruitment process for doctors and other medical professionals should be expedited without any delays, adding that there is no room for procrastination in hiring consultants and specialists.
The Chief Minister also announced that he would personally visit Sui and Bekar next month to inspect the on-ground situation and review the facilities being provided.
He reiterated that the provision of quality healthcare services remains a top priority for the provincial government. “Our aim is to ensure that the people of Balochistan have access to the best healthcare services right at their doorstep,” he said.
