QUETTA, Jul 28 (APP):Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Monday urged the Vice Chancellors of Public Sector Universities to ensure that they hold their Senate and Syndicate meetings as per the instructions of the Chancellor’s Office so that we could lead our Public Sector Universities in Balochistan on the path of development and prosperity of our region.
He expressed these views while talking to Gwadar University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razaq Sabir.
On the occasion, Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan said that there is a dire need for a new vision for the bright future of our public sector universities in Balochistan.
He said that public universities would have to make conscious efforts to improve their performance to achieve high rankings saying that by setting new goals under mutual consultation, working tirelessly and promoting an environment of quality education, we could make our institutions shine at the national and international level.
He said that in view of the economic and trade changes taking place in the region, we have to equip our students with modern skills along with quality education.
He said that this combination would ensure that our graduates are not only knowledgeable but also prepared to face the challenges of the contemporary world, making them a valuable asset to our society.
