QUETTA, Jul 22 (APP):In a significant move to advance healthcare infrastructure, the Balochistan Assembly on Tuesday referred two key legislative proposals to the relevant standing committee for detailed review and recommendations.
Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar introduced the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology Bill 2025 and the Amendment Bill 2025 for the Balochistan Institute of Nephro-Urology during the session.
The Assembly unanimously agreed to forward both bills to the standing committee, which will now assess the drafts, suggest revisions if needed, and submit its findings for final approval.
The proposed legislation aims to strengthen specialized medical institutions in the province, particularly in the fields of cardiology and nephro-urology, by improving infrastructure, expanding services, and promoting institutional development.
