LAHORE, Dec 03 (APP):An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday postponed the announcement of its reserved verdict on the bail petitions of PTI leaders, Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Omer Sarfraz Cheema, in a May 9-related case.
During the proceedings, defence counsel sought additional time to present further arguments, stating that they wished to address additional points before the court. Acting on the request, ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill deferred the decision until December 8.
The reserved verdict pertains to FIR 108/23 filed at Sarwar Road Police Station, which involves allegations of torching a police vehicle near Jinnah House.
The court had reserved the verdict on bail petitions of both leaders on completion of arguments by the parties, a day earlier.
