KARACHI, Dec 29 (APP):The Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas has appointed Asad Ur Rehman Khan as Honorary Consul of The Bahamas in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
He, according to a statement issued here, will work for enhancing bilateral relations, facilitating consular services, encouraging trade and investment, and fostering cultural and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
This appointment underscores the commitment of the Government of The Bahamas to expand its diplomatic outreach and strengthen partnerships in South Asia, opening new avenues for cooperation and mutual understanding, it added.
