Azma terms British magazine’s report on Bushra Bibi ‘accurate and factual’

LAHORE, Nov 15 (APP): Punjab Minister for Information Azma Bokhari has said that the British magazine’s recent report regarding Bushra Bibi is “completely accurate” and fully reflects the facts.
In a statement issued on Friday, she said that after fresh revelations about the PTI founder, Bushra Bibi’s alleged activities have now become a subject of international media coverage.
The minister said the global publication’s report has exposed what she described as the deception of a “fake spiritual setup” and a so-called mysticism that allegedly concealed darker motives. “The man who used to threaten his opponents that he would not spare them, himself believed that the manipulated information fed to his wife was some form of spirituality,” she added.
Azma Bokhari said that for four years, Bushra Bibi, whom she referred to as the PTI founder’s “coach” and “spiritual guide,” misled him. Despite claims of bringing change and eliminating corruption, she alleged that Bushra Bibi had been facilitating a new form of “legitimized corruption.”
“Pinki, Gogi, the Coach, and Buzdar together made the PTI founder dance to their tunes for four years,” she remarked, adding that the country and its economy cannot be run through sorcery, spells, or fraudulent spiritual practices. “The so-called spirituality of those who wanted to bury their opponents metaphorically has already died three years ago,” she said.
Azma Bokhari further claimed that PML-N leaders Maryam Nawaz and Rana Sanaullah were mentally tortured at Bushra Bibi’s behest. However, she added that under the current Punjab government led by Maryam Nawaz, Bushra Bibi is being provided full B-Class facilities in jail.
“This is the difference in character and values,” the minister concluded.
